Dear parents and dancers,
I just wanted to say a big thank you for being a part of the dance team this semester. It goes without saying that this isn't our ideal school year, but I am beyond proud of how you have handled the challenges thrown at you. Thank you for being a bright spot in my week. I truly look forward to seeing your faces online and in person, and it makes my day to hear you all laughing at Terry (let's face it, he's pretty hilarious). I hope you have found dance to be fun and challenging this semester, and I hope you know I'll continue to plan video performances and classes to look forward to. We all need something to look forward to, don't we?! If you have any ideas or suggestions, always feel comfortable to let me know or reach out to your awesome captains! This is YOUR team, and I'm here to make it a positive and enriching experience for YOU. Parents, thank you for entrusting us with your kids on campus. It means a lot to me and Terry. Although we only had a few in person rehearsals, I hope your kiddos found it comforting to have that real time interaction. We hope to offer them again so our girls can enjoy being together (while 6 ft apart). As parents, we know how important it is for kids to have that interaction and their mental health is important to us. Again, to say I'm proud of you all is an understatement. Thank you for being awesome and feel free to reach out with any questions. (Even during the break. I'll be on my couch watching Hallmark movies). Take care and stay safe. See you all next year where we'll continue to dance our hearts out. Much love, Mrs. Pollard and Mr. Bixler
